CIMB remains lackadaisical. At about 7.00 pm yesterday evening, Puan Hamidah Naziadin, Director of Group Human Resources CIMB called the undersigned to arrange for a meeting to resolve the outstanding issues on a date and time that works best for NUBE.
In the best interest of industrial harmony and the discriminated members, we immediately proposed to meet on 2.12.2009 at 3.00 pm.
Surprisingly, Puan Hamidah Naziadin informed that she is off to Indonesia despite the industrial action faced by CIMB here in Malaysia and can only meet us on 7.12.2009. She also requested us to stop all industrial action till the said meeting.
We remained patient; in fact we have been patient for more than one (1) year on some of the issues and therefore agreed to meet the bank on 7.12.2009 but in order to convince us that the bank is sincere in wanting to resolve the issues on Monday, we asked the bank to:
1. Transfer – revert our members who were transferred unfairly to their original branches;
2. Two of the transferred members be reverted to fill the vacancy at Retail Collection Centre at MBC;
3. Transfer Puan Siti Rohana from Kuala Nerang branch to a branch in Alor Setar immediately;
4. Stop converting the status of NUBE members to Service Ambassadors, CSRO and CSOFO and to
5. Direct the Branch Manager of CIMB Wisma Hap Seng Jalan P Ramlee to go on leave until the meeting on 7.12.2009.
Guest what was the reply from the bank?
Yes! They definitely said NO to all of the above except for Puan Siti Rohana, they said the bank is making arrangements for her transfer to Alor Setar but she will be informed of the arrangement only in due course.
Despite some of the issues remaining outstanding for more than a year, CIMB still does not seem to understand the urgency in resolving the said issues, therefore all industrial actions against CIMB will continue until the bank comes to its senses and resolves all the issues immediately.
One for all and all for one
