Kuala Lumpur: The meeting between NUBE and CIMB Bank Bhd held on 7.12.2009 was cordial. The bank resolved the sexual harassment, unfair transfers and some of the breach of the Collective Agreement immediately.

CIMB Bank Bhd gave its assurance that sexual harassment will not be condoned and Branch Managers ought to be more responsible in dealing with their subordinates.

The remaining issues such as the remaining complaints of breach of Collective Agreement, extensive outsourcing, redundancy and union busting encompassed some 5 major issues, the bank agreed to revert by Friday, 11.12.2009.

We trust the bank will resolve all issues on Friday and move forward in the best interest of its employees, industrial harmony and above all, the customers of the bank.

The NUBE EXCO that met today, unanimously decided to put all industrial action on hold in the faith the bank will resolve all issues by Friday.
