CHILDREN AND OLD FOLKS FETED TO CHRISTMAS DINNER BY STAFF OF NUBE HQ

Festival Season is a time for caring and sharing with the less fortunate and marginalised in society.

As part of the Social Corporate Responsibility (SCR), NUBE feted 36 less fortunate residents comprising of little children and old folks at Pusat Jagaan Beribuan Kasih in Kajang to dinner during the Christmas festivity. Their ages ranged from 2 years to 82 years.

NUBE General Secretary, J Solomon who initiated the out-reach caring activity led his staffs of various races and religious belief from NUBE Head Office to share their love, care and support for the residents there as enshrined in the vision of 1 Malaysia.

The little children wearing party hats and fancy face masks together with the adults enjoyed the sumptuous dinner and later joined the staffs who entertained them to a get-together fun time session. Some of the staffs were moved with tears of sympathy and were seen consoling the little ones who intimately shared their pathetic stories of how they were abandon by their parents and loved ones.

NUBE Management and Staffs collectively donated useful items such as nutritious milk, fruits, biscuits, clothes and stationery items for the residents there who depend very much on donations. The entire cost for the dinner and the donations were generously borne by the staff of NUBE HQ.

J Solomon expressed hope and confidence that members who strive to uplift their quality of life would also reach out to assist the less fortunate and needy people to reflect a true and caring society in Malaysia.
