#HSBC Malaysia discriminates ordinary, loyal customers.
More than 5,000 loyal HSBC customers and bank staff were instructed to close their rental Safe Deposit Locker (SDL) at the HSBC KL Headquarters branch (KLH) immediately.
But, special treatment was given for Premier Banking customers, they allowed to move their SDL possessions to selected HSBC branches but the rest of the customer are told to close the SDL.
One Rule for Rich and another Rule for Poor!
This is HSBC! Never walks the talk and as always, preaches only to the whole world!
HSBC is the ultimate hypocrite in complying with its own Values.
It claims to give EQUAL priority to ALL customers but blatantly favours the rich and tells others, many who have been loyal customers for more than 40 years, to ‘take a hike’.
#NUBE found scores of depositors sadly waiting in the crammed HSBC KLH office basement to remove their belongings from the SDL as instructed by HSBC. HSBC also failed to comply with the National Security Council’s #Covid-19 SOP.
Some wore a blank looks and others were in tears as they did not know what to do with their valuable possessions after being rudely told to close the SDL or face the consequence of having their belongings being removed by the bank.
This is HSBC’s cruel, heartless, selfish, brutal and bullying act of elderly customers and staff in closing the SDL during this period disregarding the well-being of the people and its workers during #Covid-19 pandemic.
