KUALA LUMPUR: The floods that hit Malaysia are worse this time than last year. Thousands of people are affected, with countless reports of homes and property damaged. So far three people have been reported dead and scores have been displaced.
Several bank employees were also affected by the floods. The National Bank Employees Union (NUBE) has come forward to provide some token assistance to these people in their times of need.
In Johor, NUBE extended assistance to the following three Public Bank employees and their families affected by the floods.

The aid to the families was delivered by Bro Tan Eng Hong, President of NUBE and also the Secretary of NUBE Seremban, Melaka and Johor Branch (SMJ)
The assistance provided is not much but it is hoped that it can help to ease the burden of the three families in coping with the floods this time.
Let us all give moral support to Siti Zahariah bte Ibrahim, Pn Norsyuadah bte jaafar and Bro. Khairuddin Bin Jasmin for them to persevere through the floods.
NUBE will continue to assist members who are victims of the current flood and who are badly affected.
