JOHOR BAHRU, 6 June 2022: NUBE SMJ Branch participated in the Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration organized by the Management of Public Bank Wilayah Selatan 1 on 3 June.
In the ceremony held at the IBIS Iskandar Puteri Hotel, NUBE SMJ was represented by SMJ Branch Secretary, Bro Tan Eng Hong who is also the President of NUBE; Branch Vice Chairperson, Sis Evelyn Chan Siew Yen; five Committee Members consisting of Bro Shariffudin, Bro Mohd Hafidh, Bro Mazuwan, Sis Nadiah and Sis Malar.
Wilayah Selatan 1 Manager, Mr Peter Cheong and branch managers welcomed the presence of NUBE SMJ leadership.
In his speech, Mr Peter stressed the need for constructive relations between the Wilayah Selatan 1 banks and NUBE SMJ. According to him, it is important for harmonious industrial relations in the workplace.
The celebration took place in a lively atmosphere after two years of not being held due to the Covid-19 pandemic. NUBE's hope that this harmonious relationship will last for a better future for NUBE members.
