KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia will share its experience on programmes to eradicate poverty and improve living standards, among others, at the four-day International Labour Conference in Geneva, Switzerland.
Human Resource Minister, Datuk Seri Richard Riot Jaem, who will represent Malaysia at the conference, would also touch on the collaboration and cooperation between the country and the International Labour Organisation (ILO), particularly on improving labour standards.
In a statement today, the ministry said during the conference, Riot was scheduled to hold discussions with ILO social protection experts to obtain technical views on social security protection for workers, as well as appropriate additional benefits. – BERNAMA
