KUALA LUMPUR, June 21 – The National Union of Bank Employees (NUBE) Malaysia today received delegation of the National Union of Bank Employees Vietnam.
The delegation of the National Union of Bank Employees Vietnam, led by the Vice President, Bro Nguyen Van Tan visited the NUBE headquarters at NUBE House here this afternoon.
The Vietnamese delegation consisting of nine leaders will be in Malaysia until Friday. They arrived yesterday.
In conjunction with this visit, a briefing to the delegation was given by the NUBE General Secretary, Bro J. Solomon. NUBE President, Bro Tan Eng Hong; Assistant General Secretary, Sis A. Karuna and National Executive Council Member, Bro Mohd Faisal Husain were also present.
In his speech, Bro Solomon hoped that bilateral relations between the two unions will remain strong and will benefit bank employees in Malaysia and Vietnam.
“Bilateral relations between NUBE Malaysia dan NUBE Vietnam should continue from one generation to the next,” he said, describing the relationship between two unions have long existed.

In fact, he also hoped that today’s visit will allow the spirit of unity between the unions will become closer.
“The banking sector is facing many challenges due to the outsourcing of work and automation.
“It is therefore important trade unions unite to find a solution that not only the Malaysia is facing with constant challenges, but also other countries,” he said.
In the meantime, Bro Nguyen was happy with the hospitality provided by NUBE Malaysia to the delegation.
“We hope the NUBE Malaysia will visit Vietnam next year,” he said.
The Vietnamese delegation will also visit NUBE Perak branch tomorrow.
